Taboos Etiquette in Uganda

Avoid public displays of affection, loud arguments, and openly criticizing elders or people in authority, as these are often seen as disrespectful. It is also taboo to discuss sex or bodily matters too directly in mixed company, and in many communities you should not point at people or use your left hand when giving or receiving items.
