Tipping Etiquette in Rwanda

Tipping is not expected in Rwanda, and in many everyday situations service charges are already included or the price is simply rounded up if you want to leave something extra. In restaurants, hotels, and with guides or drivers, a small tip is appreciated for good service but should be modest and discreet rather than treated as an obligation.
