Religion is generally practiced openly and respectfully in Rwanda, and visitors should dress modestly and behave quietly when entering
churches or
mosques, especially during services. Sunday worship is common and many people are Christian, but there is also a visible Muslim minority and a strong expectation that religious differences be treated politely and without debate.
