Visitors should stay on marked trails, keep a respectful distance from wildlife, and follow ranger instructions closely, especially in national parks and on gorilla treks. Rwanda treats conservation as a serious national priority, so littering, loud behavior, or trying to feed animals is frowned on and can get you removed from protected areas.
