Photography Etiquette in Rwanda

Ask before photographing people, especially in rural areas, markets, or around government and military sites, because many Rwandans consider it polite to be consulted first. It is usually fine to take landscapes, city scenes, and wildlife photos in parks, but some memorials, official buildings, and security-sensitive places may prohibit cameras or require permission.
