Tipping Etiquette in Ukraine

Tipping in Ukraine is appreciated but usually modest: in restaurants people often round up the bill or leave about 5–10% if service was good, while in casual cafés, taxis, and bars small change is common rather than a fixed percentage. Service charges are not always included, and in more formal places or for hotel staff a small cash tip is a polite gesture, but it is not as obligatory as in some countries.
