Clothing Etiquette in Ukraine

In Ukraine, dress is generally practical and neat, with people tending to look well put together in cities and for social visits, so overly casual gym wear or beach clothes are usually reserved for the right setting. In churches and during formal occasions, modest clothing is expected, and in winter locals dress in layers and sturdy boots because the cold season is taken seriously.
