Smoking Etiquette in Ukraine

Smoking is generally tolerated outdoors and in some designated areas, but you should not smoke in enclosed public places, public transport, government buildings, or near many entrances where no-smoking rules are enforced. In restaurants and cafes, smoking is usually restricted to separate outdoor terraces or clearly marked sections, and it is polite to ask before lighting up if you are unsure.
