PDA Etiquette in Ukraine

Public displays of affection are usually kept modest in Ukraine, so holding hands or a quick kiss is generally fine, but prolonged hugging, heavy kissing, or overtly sexual behavior in public can draw disapproval, especially outside nightlife areas. In everyday settings people tend to value restraint and personal space, though younger urban crowds in Kyiv or Lviv may be more relaxed than older generations or in smaller towns.
