Tipping Etiquette in Cameroon

Tipping is appreciated in Cameroon but usually modest: in restaurants and cafes, rounding up the bill or leaving a small extra amount is common rather than a fixed percentage. In hotels, with drivers, and for porters or guides, a little cash is a polite gesture, but service charges are not always included and many locals tip only when the service feels especially helpful.
