PDA Etiquette in Cameroon

Public displays of affection are usually kept very modest in Cameroon, so holding hands is generally fine but kissing, hugging, or lingering touch in public can draw uncomfortable attention, especially outside urban nightlife settings. In many communities, restraint is tied to respectability and family values, and older people in particular may see overt PDA as inappropriate even when younger city residents are more relaxed.
