Coffee & Tea Etiquette in Cameroon

Tea is the more common everyday hot drink in many parts of Cameroon, especially in the north and in Muslim households, while coffee is less central and usually appears in homes, hotels, or urban cafés rather than as a daily ritual. When offered, it is polite to accept a cup and sip it slowly; in the west and southwest you may also encounter strong local tea service or coffee from the highland growing areas, but hospitality matters more than the exact drink.
