Queueing Etiquette in Cameroon

Queueing is often looser than in many Western countries, so expect people to form informal lines and be ready to ask politely where the end is, especially at banks, bus stations, and government offices. In busy markets and during service delays, patience and a calm tone matter more than strict first-come-first-served order, and in some places staff may call people forward by need or familiarity rather than by a visible line.
