Inclusivity Etiquette in Vietnam

In Vietnam, people generally expect polite, low-key inclusivity: greet everyone respectfully, avoid singling people out for their gender, age, disability, or background, and use the most formal title or relationship term you can manage until invited to be more casual. Public discussion of identity issues can be more reserved than in some countries, so a warm, non-confrontational tone and attention to hierarchy usually matter more than overt displays of activism.
