Street Food Etiquette in Vietnam

Street food is a normal and often preferred way to eat in Vietnam, so it is common to buy a bowl of phở, bánh mì, or grilled snacks from small sidewalk stalls and eat them standing or on tiny plastic stools. Busy stalls with a steady turnover are usually the safest bet, and in many cities the best food is found in early morning markets or evening street corners where locals gather after work.
