Taboos Etiquette in Vietnam

Avoid public displays of anger, loud arguments, and touching someone’s head, as these are seen as disrespectful and can cause embarrassment. It is also taboo to point your feet at people or altars, and you should be careful around family altars, temples, and during Tết, when showing restraint and respect for elders is especially important.
