Queueing Etiquette in Vietnam

Queueing is often looser than in some Western countries, so at busy markets, bus stops, or ticket counters people may edge forward, cluster around the front, or rely on whoever arrived first to speak up rather than on a strict single-file line. In formal settings like banks, hospitals, and government offices, however, numbered tickets and orderly lines are more common, and it helps to stay patient and watch how locals are managing the queue.
