Personal Space Etiquette in Vietnam

In Vietnam, personal space is usually smaller than in many Western countries, so standing closer, sharing tables, and light physical contact in conversation are normal in crowded markets, buses, and family settings. People still avoid overtly intrusive touching with strangers, but in everyday life the norm is to stay relaxed and not read closeness as rude, especially in busy urban areas.
