Tipping Etiquette in Peru

Tipping is not expected in Peru, and in many everyday places people simply round up the bill or leave a small extra amount if service was especially good. In restaurants, a 5–10% tip is appreciated but not obligatory, while taxi drivers, market vendors, and casual service workers usually do not expect one.
