Relationships Etiquette in Peru

Public displays of affection are generally accepted in Peru, especially in cities, but people still tend to keep relationship matters relatively private around family and in more conservative settings. Dating often moves through family introductions and close social circles, and in many households a serious partner is expected to be treated respectfully and included in gatherings once the relationship is established.
