Toilets Etiquette in Mongolia

In Mongolia, many public and rural toilets are basic pit latrines or simple shared facilities, so travelers should carry their own toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and small change when using them. In cities, newer restrooms are more common but still may not provide paper or soap, and in the countryside it is normal to use outdoor facilities discreetly and leave them clean for the next person.
