PDA Etiquette in Mongolia

Public displays of affection are usually kept very modest in Mongolia, so holding hands is generally fine but kissing or prolonged hugging in public can draw attention, especially outside Ulaanbaatar. Younger urban couples may be more relaxed, yet in rural areas and around elders it is better to stay discreet and follow the more reserved social style.
