Tipping Etiquette in Mongolia

Tipping is not expected in Mongolia, and in many everyday places such as taxis, cafés, and casual restaurants, rounding up the bill or leaving a small extra amount is enough if you want to show appreciation. In higher-end hotels or tour services, a modest tip may be welcomed, but locals usually do not treat it as a fixed obligation, and service charges are often already included.
