PDA Etiquette in Portugal

Public displays of affection are generally accepted in Portugal, especially among couples in cities and tourist areas, so holding hands, hugging, or a quick kiss is usually unremarkable. Very intense or prolonged PDA can still draw looks in more conservative settings or among older people, but the overall attitude is relaxed compared with many other countries.
