Tipping Etiquette in Poland

Tipping in Poland is appreciated but usually modest: in restaurants people often round up the bill or leave about 5–10% for good service, while in cafés, taxis, and casual places small change is enough. Service charges are not always included, so if you pay by card it is common to say the amount you want charged before the payment is processed, and leaving nothing is generally not considered rude if the service was ordinary.
