Gender Norms Etiquette in Poland

Poland is generally traditional in public gender expectations, so men are often expected to hold doors, offer seats, and take the lead in formal or dating situations, while women may still be treated with old-fashioned courtesy. In cities the norm is more modern and equal in workplaces and social life, but older generations and more conservative settings can still expect clearly defined roles, especially around family and hospitality.
