Poland is generally safe for travelers, but in cities and on public transport you should keep an eye on your belongings because pickpocketing and opportunistic theft are the main risks. At night, use normal urban caution in busy nightlife areas and around train stations, and if you are driving, be aware that traffic enforcement is strict and local drivers can be impatient.
