Photography Etiquette in Poland

Ask before photographing people, especially in rural areas, markets, churches, and at family gatherings, because many Poles consider it intrusive unless permission is clearly given. You can usually take photos of streets, architecture, and public sights, but some museums, military sites, and religious services restrict photography or expect you to avoid flash and keep quiet.
