Dress conservatively and neatly in public, with modest, plain clothing preferred over flashy styles, revealing outfits, or anything that looks overly Western or politically provocative. In Pyongyang and at official sites, locals often wear pressed shirts, jackets, skirts, or suits, and visitors are expected to avoid jeans, shorts, sleeveless tops, and clothing with slogans or images that could be seen as disrespectful.
