Tipping Etiquette in Iraq

Tipping is not expected in Iraq, but rounding up the bill or leaving a small amount for good service in restaurants, cafés, and with drivers is appreciated. In higher-end hotels and some urban spots, a modest tip may be given to porters or housekeeping, while in more traditional settings people often simply pay the stated price without adding extra.
