Keep your voice low in homes, shops, and especially around mosques or during prayer times, since loud public behavior can be read as rude or disrespectful. In busy markets and family gatherings people may talk animatedly, but in more conservative settings and at night it is better to avoid shouting, music, or other noticeable noise.
