Bargaining is generally limited to informal markets, street stalls, and private deals, while fixed prices are the norm in shops, restaurants, and most tourist services. In places like souvenir markets or with taxi drivers outside regulated stands, a polite, light negotiation may work, but pushing hard is usually seen as rude and unnecessary.
