Dining Etiquette in Brazil

Meals are usually social and unhurried, so it is normal to linger at the table, share dishes, and wait for everyone to be served before starting. In restaurants, a service charge is often added to the bill, and in homes or churrascarias it is polite to try a little of what is offered, especially when someone prepares feijoada or a churrasco spread.
