Tipping Etiquette in Thailand

Tipping is not expected in Thailand, and in many everyday places like street food stalls, taxis, and casual restaurants, rounding up or leaving small change is enough if you want to show appreciation. In nicer hotels, spas, and tourist-oriented restaurants, a modest tip is welcome but still optional, and many locals simply leave a few baht or nothing at all unless service was exceptional.
