Public criticism, swearing, and open displays of affection are best avoided, and it is important not to photograph people, government buildings, or military sites without permission. During Ramadan, do not eat, drink, or smoke in public during daylight hours, and dress modestly and behave quietly, especially around mosques and in conservative areas.
