Coffee & Tea Etiquette in Mexico

Coffee is usually served as a social drink, often sweetened and taken with breakfast or after meals, while tea is less central in daily life than in many other countries. In many homes and cafés, people more commonly offer café de olla, a spiced coffee brewed with cinnamon and piloncillo, and it is polite to accept at least a small cup when offered.
