Swearing Etiquette in Armenia

Swearing is generally frowned upon in public in Armenia, especially around elders, family settings, and formal gatherings, where it can come across as rude or low-class. Among close friends or in heated moments it may be heard more often, but using it casually with strangers or in mixed company is still likely to offend.
