Money Talk Etiquette in Armenia

People in Armenia usually discuss money and prices quite openly, especially when bargaining in markets, arranging services, or comparing salaries and costs with friends and relatives. At the same time, it is still polite to be tactful about someone’s personal finances or to avoid sounding boastful about wealth, since directness is normal but showing off is not.
