Recycling Etiquette in Armenia

Recycling is still limited in Armenia, so travelers should not expect the same level of sorting, curbside pickup, or public recycling bins found in many Western cities. In Yerevan, a few private initiatives and collection points exist for items like glass, paper, and plastic, but most households still treat waste as mixed trash, so it is best to separate recyclables only when a hotel, café, or local program clearly asks for it.
