Queueing Etiquette in Zambia

Queueing is generally expected in Zambia, especially at banks, government offices, bus stations, and shops, and people usually wait their turn rather than pushing ahead. In busy or informal settings the line may be loose and someone may ask to be served next if they arrived earlier, but cutting in without acknowledgment is still seen as rude.
