Photography Etiquette in Zambia

Always ask permission before photographing people, especially in rural areas, markets, or around traditional ceremonies, because many Zambians consider unsolicited photos intrusive. It is also wise to avoid taking pictures of police, military sites, government buildings, and some sacred or community events unless a guide or local host clearly says it is allowed.
