Bargaining Etiquette in Zambia
Bargaining is normal in informal markets, roadside stalls, and with some taxi or craft sellers, but it should be done politely and with a smile rather than aggressively. In supermarkets, restaurants, and most fixed-price shops, prices are usually non-negotiable, while haggling is more expected when buying curios, secondhand goods, or produce in local markets.
