PDA Etiquette in Turkey

Public displays of affection are usually kept modest in Turkey, so holding hands is generally fine but kissing, hugging, or lingering touch in public can draw stares, especially in conservative neighborhoods or around older people. In big cities and tourist areas the rules are looser, yet couples still tend to be discreet in family spaces, mosques, and on public transport.
