Street Food Etiquette in Malawi

Street food is common and usually eaten casually from roadside stalls or market vendors, with people often buying nsima, grilled meat, mandasi, or roasted maize to eat on the go or nearby. It is normal to choose busy stalls with a steady turnover, and in towns and around bus stations the most popular vendors are often the safest and freshest because food is cooked in small batches throughout the day.
