Queueing Etiquette in Malawi

Queueing is generally expected in Malawi, especially at banks, clinics, government offices, and busy shops, and people usually wait their turn rather than pushing ahead. In practice the line may be loose and someone may ask to be served first if they arrived for a specific errand or are known locally, but cutting in without asking is seen as rude.
