Bills are usually paid promptly and in full, often at convenience stores, banks, or by automatic bank transfer, and splitting a bill casually is less common than settling your own share cleanly. In restaurants and shops, cash is still widely accepted, but many people prefer exact payment or card/QR methods, and recurring household bills are often handled through bank or post office systems rather than by mailing checks.
