Tipping Etiquette in Haiti

Tipping is appreciated in Haiti but usually modest: in restaurants and for hotel staff, a small extra amount or rounding up the bill is common rather than a fixed percentage. In tourist areas and better hotels, service charges may already be included, while taxi drivers, porters, and guides often expect a little cash for good service.
