Public toilets are often basic, so carry your own tissue or wet wipes and some small change in case a caretaker charges a small fee or sells soap. In hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers the facilities are usually more reliable, but in rural areas and roadside stops you may need to be prepared for squat toilets or no running water.
