Personal Space Etiquette in Zimbabwe

People in Zimbabwe generally stand and sit closer than many Western visitors expect, so a bit of reduced personal space is normal in conversation, queues, and public transport. In formal settings people still avoid obvious touching or crowding, but among friends and family warm greetings, handshakes, and brief physical contact are common and usually read as friendly rather than intrusive.
