Tea is the default drink in Uzbek homes and guest settings, and it is polite to accept at least a small cup when offered, often with several refills during a visit. Coffee is much less central than tea, while
green tea is especially common and may be served with meals, in
teahouses, or alongside hospitality rituals such as a shared meal.
